This native North American deciduous tree is known for its unique, willow-like leaves. It also provides plentiful acorns that attract wildlife. The foliage is bright green in summer and a warm yellow in Fall. The Willow Oak can survive poorly-drained soils, so if your property is wet, this is for you. The Willow Oak thrives in full sun in acidic soils. Great for attracting deer, turkey, duck, and some songbirds. New trees can produce fruit in 20+ years depending on care and climate. The success of new trees is heavily dependent on the care received during and after planting.
